We set to work with all this in mind and chose a lovely combination of small shrubs and perennial plants to give colour all year round. A new real turf lawn was laid and all paving slabs jet washed. Transformed!

This garden was left to its own devices for more than 10 years and, no joke, nature had completely taken over. The brief was to completely clear the space and keep it extremely low maintenance for tenants.

After

5 days and 60 + bags of rubbish later this waste land was transformed. We left a few choice plants, a beautiful rose which got to drape itself over a new arch and gravelled the rest of the space. Not a bramble in sight!

Before

This old decking design no longer filled its purpose with this growing family so the spec was to upgrade it with new composite decking  and a bigger space for more adequate outdoor living.

After
And here is the finished design. Twice the size, spanning the whole width of the garden with a generous space for tables, chairs, gazebo's, BBQ's, pot plants, etc. Overall a fabulous new look.
Before

This back garden had great potential but it wasn't very inspiring and had far too much concrete, not enough plants!

After

We took out most of the paving slabs, added some climbing plants to the back fence, planted around the pond area and a year later, a London Oasis!

Before

Keeping a pond requires a fair amount of maintenance but this pond had been left way too long. The pond lining was aged and cracked and there was about 5 years worth of dead rotting leaves at the bottom. Yikes!

After

We ended up completely replacing the pond with a much smaller fibre glass pond mould, added a pump, a fountain, some plants and some fish.  Unrecognisable.

Before

A typical small back garden in East London where the ivy has completely taken over the shed and fence. look familiar? Well you probably need a visit from Project Green Thumb.

After

3 hours of pruning, trimming, clipping, sweeping and jet washing revealed a very smart looking suntrap, ideal for BBQ's and lazy days on the sun lounger.

Before

Another SOS call to tackle the back yard jungle monster. This request was for a simple, manageable, easy to maintain garden with a bit of character.

After

And here is the finished project. Smarter, clearer brighter, much more manageable and an absolute delight to sit in after all the clearing and redesigning was done.

Before

The owners of this  front garden asked for a much smarter look from the original. We trimmed the hedges, weeded, put in a flower border and replaced the gravel.

After

What a difference! We loved the shade of this 'Cotswold' gravel too which really brightened and smartened the whole front garden.

Before

Privet hedges remain the firm favourite of most London gardens mainly for the fact they give great privacy and can be trimmed to an almost perfect shape.

After

May is when they have a huge growth spurt but with a steady hand and an eye for precision they can be trimmed to a fantastic finish, just like this one we regularly maintain.

Before

This neglected garden was crying out for some TLC and a new style. The plan was to re lay the path, add a lawn and create some defined flower beds for growing herbs, shrubs and perennials

After

All the weeds and rubbish gone and the ground levelled we moved the path over to the left, creating a much better space for a lovely green lawn and some good size flower borders.

Before

Here was a very underused part of a garden which our clients wanted to make best use of so seeing as it caught the afternoon sun beautifully it was perfect for a patio.

After

We cleared the area, levelled the ground and designed this fab combination of paving stones to create a bright sunny terrace, big enough for a large family BBQ space.
